2007 Upper North Island Best Sports Field Competition
The Best Sports Field Competition has been in operation in the upper North Island since 2001 and this year we have 16 fields confirmed for the competition, represented by four councils.
In 2005 the competition was close with Riverhills Park No.2 from Manukau City Council and Excell Corporation coming out as the overall best sports field. Who will be the victor in 2007?
The competition involves three separate winter audits of the fields and collection of usage and maintenance information. An awards event will be carried out in January/February 2008 to determine who has the best sports field in the upper North Island for 2007!
