Seminar Facilities
The NZSTI Turf Training Centre is a new complex providing modern facilities in a pleasant rural atmosphere. These facilities are available for hire to small groups for seminars etc. The availability of demonstration turf plots and other agronomic features makes the venue ideal for use by members of the sports turf industry.
Institute staff are also available to provide:
- GROWSAFE teaching to Introductory and Applied level
- Tailor-made turf management courses for individual groups

- 1200 m2 of research plots demonstrating different golf green and sports field construction techniques, turf grass cultivar evaluation and turf management techniques
- Glasshouse
Venue hire
- One day or part day (indoor facilities only) by arrangement
- Turf tutoring and use of outdoor facilities by arrangement
