The NZ Sports Turf Institute is an independent, non-profit organisation, funded by NZ’s major sporting bodies. We aim to promote improvement of playing surfaces for all sports and recreational activities through research and advice to our members.

The Institute is the official consulting body to the NZ Golf Association, Bowls NZ and NZ Cricket. In addition, we provide services to other members including schools and District Councils. Staff also have expertise in croquet greens, tennis courts, race tracks, athletic tracks, synthetic surfaces and domestic lawns.

Any group or individual can apply for Associate status of the Institute. All support is greatly appreciated! Entitlements and fees are outlined below:

Associate fees:

• GOLD - Companies/Clubs/Organisations $65.00 + GST
• SILVER - Schools $40.00 + GST
• BRONZE - Individuals $40.00 + GST
