Everett has 20 years turf industry experience including the last four years with NZ Sports Turf Institute as an agronomist based in Auckland.

Everett entered the turf industry in 1992 as an apprentice at the Auckland Golf Club and later joined Akarana Golf Club in 1996 as a qualified assistant superintendent and was then appointed course manager for the Howick Golf Club.

Everett’s role within NZSTI involves sports field development and research into maintenance practices, as well as golf course consultancy and playing quality audits. In 2010 Everett began providing training for the NZ Certificate in Sports Turf Management within the Institute’s training division.
