NZ Sports Turf Institute - Drainage & Irrigation Design

NZSTI provides a full drainage and irrigation design service. NZSTI agronomists have the knowledge and use a flexible approach to find cost effective solutions for sports turf drainage and irrigation systems that will improve sports turf performance. Drainage and irrigation systems are designed specifically to each client’s requirements.

NZSTI will provide expertise and support through the whole process of design including:

Feasibility study to identify the optimum drainage and irrigation options, approximate construction costs and limitations for the different options.
Production of construction specifications and design drawings to ensure that the systems are installed to the correct standard.
Tender evaluation for appointment of suitable contractors.
Laboratory testing of drainage materials.
Construction monitoring of the works to observe construction, carry out independent construction quality inspections on behalf of the client, deal with any contractor issues or queries and assessment of contractor progress claims and authorising progress payments for completed works.
