Grounds Person – Cornwall Cricket Club
Set in the attractive surroundings of Cornwall Park, the full time position of Cricket Grounds Person has become available after 8 years. Reporting to the General Manager, the role has responsibility for producing three high quality cricket grounds.
The ability to prepare a cricket pitch and to both maintain and renovate a wicket block and outfield is critical. There is further responsibility in maintaining the surrounding areas, artificial nets and completing basic R&M tasks within the pavilion. Knowledge of grounds machinery is also important.
The position is available immediately after the application closing date of 30th May.

Due to continued expansion Farm Services Ltd (Silverdale), currently has a vacancy for a Golf and Turf Technician.
As New Zealand’s largest John Deere dealership, our ongoing customer commitment has earned us the position of “No 1 Commercial and Consumer Equipment Dealer” consecutively in 2006 and 2007.
We are seeking a highly motivated person who is experienced in Golf and Turf equipment. Mechanical qualifications and an understanding of John Deere Fine Turf Equipment, whilst being an advantage, are not essential.
If you have good customer service skills and can work well both within a high performance team and unsupervised, you will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package and excellent working conditions.
The successful applicant will possess a strong work ethic as well as a high level of accuracy and initiative. You will also be required to undertake Field Service work and participate in ongoing product training within New Zealand and Australia.
